According to press materials Pitchfork found in their mailbag, Mr. David Portner/Tare’s “favorite animals are the otter and crocodile [and] the latter has played a big role in his newest record. ” The LP is scheduled to drop via Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks imprint come October 26. There is bound to be a lot of yawping and yelping and hopefully, with some luck, liner note art that features otters sculpted entirely of gauze. Those are very cute.
