These guys have played past shows with bands Native, La Dispute, Xerxes, and Touché Amoré, so I just assumed they are good. The Great and the Alleged Great may be only 5 songs totally up to 15 minutes, but they don’t hesitate at all to let loose. While still a raw punk album, the music is surprising intricate and polished, which takes a few listens to notice those small things.
